NGOs and charities work on a variety of humanitarian and societal challenges – from education and health, to disaster response and recovery. They  often face scale and money issues, in situations that can be very adverse. Artificial intelligence (AI) can provide a series of tools and approaches that have the potential to help non profit organisations become more effective – doing more for less – but AI has its own challenges, from solution design and modeling, to technology implementation and ethics.

We have invited experts in AI from academia and industry as well as NGOs/charities to a discussion on “AI for Good”. We will hear their stories around practical challenges in using AI, adoption of AI in non profit organisations for humanitarian actions, design and ethical concerns.
